Expressing Memories

It's not that easy to keep feelings inside for human beings, moreover, it's not very healthy either which naturally leads to the fact that we tend to express our emotions. Some of us are just way too expressive and emotional, others are more reserved, but still we all show what we have inside from time to time i.e. we share certain parts of our inner world with others.
Expressing memories is not an exception, especially the ones which are just too bright to be kept inside. We express our fondest memories during a warm conversation with a good friend, we share our bitter memories with the closest ones, we speak about horrible memories with a shrink, we reminisce about childhood memories in a good company...
However, there are times when we can't express our memories to other people – either because of the delicately private character of the information or just because of our specific mood. In this case we may want to review old photos or videos just to express our memories in the air or to our pillow, to cry them out on our own or to smile them away through the day, we may even feel like sharing our thoughts on past with paper...
Cases may be different, but expressing your memories in a healthy and even useful way is always good, it either fills you with warmth left from the best moments of the past or helps you let the unpleasant memories go up in smoke. In either case it invariably makes you feel better.
