Getting Real

Memories can be beautiful flashes of light and lovely painted images from the past which occasionally remind us of the fact that life is colourful and is worth living and fighting for, they bring us positive emotions in the daytime and beautifully sweetest dreams at night.

Our fond memories speak in a soft voice in our thoughts when we indulge in reminiscing about things that happened to us at different stages of our life making us feel complete and inspiring us to overflow with love and best emotions ever existent.

The best memories are dearly kept and cherished in an endless amount of pictures and videos in our private 'collections', they are poetically described in our diaries which are filled with diamonds and rust – both best and saddest memories of events surrounding our lives.

We should cherish our memories, that's for sure. However, we must also invariably remember that there should be a clear-cut line between our past and our present. The former is gone and will never come back, while the latter is our life where we make new happy memories, easily let go of the sad remembrances and dearly cherish (vs. hold on to) the memory of some beautiful instants from the past.
