Memories and Dreams

Memories and dreams are closely connected because both are the 'products' of what happens to us in the real life. When reminiscing about something for a long time, we often transfer our memories into our dreams which results either in beautiful dreams or horrible nightmares – depends on things and events our memories are related to.
For instance, if we reminisce about our unforgettable moments spent near the ocean with the perfect at that very instant love of our lives, these out-of-this-worldly pleasant memories will most likely give rise to lovely dreams about those amazing times from the past when we felt the happiest people walking along the cloud number nine instead of wandering along the Earth.
On the contrary, if we think about some especially horrible moments from the past, we most probably will bring along awful dreams followed by continuous restlessness and lack of peace of mind. The situation may cause deep stress, long depression and different psychological and physical illnesses 'settling down' successfully on the basis of a constant exhaustion of this stressed-out person's body and soul.
Memories certainly have direct impact on people's dreams. The vice-versa effect is possible as well, for if we dream about something bright or vitally important or even something which in a way predicts the future, it stays in our memories for a long time.
