Not Nostalgic?

'Now you're telling me you're not nostalgic, well give me another word for it, you who were so good with words and at keeping things vague...' – a quote from J.Baez's song which she dedicated to Bob Dylan – the one who is 'never nostalgic'. She desperately tried to negate the fact that the song was written for him saying that she had dedicated it to her husband who was in prison then... Even steven, what else can we say about those stubborn talented people...

We won't go deeply into the profoundly complicated relationship of this couple, however, we'll just state that there are people who are extremely sensitive, sentimental and nostalgic, however who will never admit it unless they are threatened with death or something really horrible.

Their hearts are filled with memories and they even cry sentimentally sometimes reminiscing over the best moments in their lives. But due to their complicated character they will never admit their sentimentality even to themselves. They are defensive enough to practise blissful self-deception for the sake of keeping their memories in most private and secretive places deep down their immense souls.

There's totally nothing wrong in being nostalgic and sentimental, most of us get like this occasionally – especially when we touch memories of the happiest times of our lives, instants when we were head over heels in love and bliss, when we walked on air and noticed no obstacles on our way.

It's up to us whether we admit our being nostalgic or not, as long as we don't keep our emotions inside (for it's harmful), we are free to make the most of our nostalgia in any way we like.
