Pros and Cons of Reminiscing

When we reminisce, we don't usually think whether it's good or bad, whether it brings us negative or positive emotions. We just indulge in the process of remembering the good old times when we were kids – careless and free of everyday routine, living in the world of dreams and believing in fairytales; or when we were in love considering ourselves to be the happiest people in the world happily flying without wings being healthily high on a drug called love.
However, now that we are observers of the whole issue, we can analyze the pros and cons of reminiscing. The analysis is based on a very simple connection – the better and the more pleasant things you reminisce about, the more good feelings the process brings to you.
It's all easy and means that pros of reminiscing are backed up with your happy memories. Because when you reminisce about something exquisitely pleasant, the best moments in your life, it means that you as if relive them in your own virtual reality, reality of your memories which are usually very vivid regarding the brightest things that happen with you.
Cons of reminiscing are – according to same logic – justified by bitter and sad memories which are very tenacious and often make attempts to stay in our life for good. But certainly, we should take time and effort to let them go and get peace of mind instead of constant restlessness.
